About Us
Sri Nrityaranjani Fine Arts Academy (SNFA) was founded by Guru Vidushi Smt. Shantha Srikanth and is co-directed by her daughter, Guru Vidushi Smt. Sharanya Shashank. What started as a small initiative to share the beauty of Bharatanatyam has now grown into a reputed academy with over 100 students across branches in Pai Layout, GM Palya, Thanisandra, Tarabanahalli, and international centers in Seattle, Raleigh, and Mauritius.
The academy is deeply rooted in the Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam and upholds the philosophy that dance is not just an artform but a way of life. At SNFA, learning is about more than technique — it is about discipline, confidence, cultural awareness, and devotion.
Since 2010, Sri Nrityaranjani Fine Arts Academy has been committed to nurturing and promoting the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam. What began as a small initiative by Guru Vidushi Smt. Shantha Srikanth has now grown into a respected institution with branches across Bengaluru and international centers in Seattle, Raleigh, and Mauritius. With over 100 students, the academy continues to inspire passion, discipline, and cultural excellence through classical dance.

Our Process
Students begin by learning the fundamentals of classical dance — including posture, footwork, expressions, and mudras. Classes emphasize discipline and dedication, creating a strong base for future progress.
As students grow in confidence and control, they are guided deeper into choreography, rhythm, and storytelling. Emotional expression becomes a key focus, aligning the dancer with the soul of the art form.
Advanced learners participate in stage performances, cultural festivals, and certification exams. Feedback, mentoring, and continued refinement ensure lifelong learning and artistic evolution.
“A Home for Dance and Discipline”
My daughter has been learning at SNFA for 5 years. The academy has given her not just dance training but also confidence, discipline, and cultural values. Shantha Ma’am and Sharanya Ma’am treat every student like family.

“Tradition with Modern Guidance”
The best part of the academy is how it preserves tradition while also guiding us with modern exposure. My arangetram journey here was unforgettable and well-supported.

“A Platform for Every Learner”
The academy gives equal importance to every student, whether a beginner or advanced dancer. The encouragement to perform on stage helped my child overcome shyness and shine with confidence.

Training follows a structured path that combines theory, practice, abhinaya (expression), and taalam (rhythm).
Students are prepared for recognized examinations under the Karnataka Board and Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.
Performances on national and international stages provide exposure and confidence-building opportunities.
Regular taalam classes under Vidwan Sri Karthik Vydathri enrich rhythmic knowledge.
