At Sri Nrityaranjani Fine Arts Academy (SNFA), we believe in structured, disciplined, and holistic learning. Our programs are designed to guide students from their first steps in dance to becoming confident performers and ambassadors of tradition.
Style: Pandanallur tradition of Bharatanatyam
Duration: Regular long-term training
Eligibility: Age 6 years onwards (no upper age limit)
Structure:
Basics of adavus, postures, and rhythm
Abhinaya (expressions) and storytelling
Advanced margams and choreography
Outcome: Strong foundation, stage confidence, and cultural grounding
Kids (6–12 years): Introduction to adavus, rhythm, and simple choreographies
Teens (13–19 years): Intermediate training with focus on abhinaya and stage presence
Adults (20+ years): Flexible and tailored training programs for beginners and advanced learners
SNFA prepares students for recognized examinations:

Exams allow students to earn accredited certifications, adding value to their artistic journey and professional growth.
Special programs conducted during holidays and festive seasons include:
Intensive training sessions on rhythm and abhinaya
Guest workshops with senior gurus and artists
Short-term programs for new learners
Thematic workshops on choreography and stagecraft
Under the guidance of Vidwan Sri Karthik Vydathri, students undergo systematic training in taalam, enhancing their understanding of rhythm and strengthening their overall dance foundation.
Performance is an integral part of learning at SNFA. Students are given multiple opportunities every year to showcase their progress and talent.
Annual Day Performances – Large stage productions led by faculty and students.
Arangetrams – Solo debut performances that mark a milestone in a student’s journey.
Cultural Festivals – Participation in national and international events, including record-setting performances.
With branches in Seattle, Raleigh, and Mauritius, SNFA extends opportunities for global exposure. International students are trained by senior disciples of the academy, carrying forward the legacy of Bharatanatyam across borders.
